Wonderful Outdoor World or WOW activities offer adventure and physical challenges. This is the central piece of the program. Each participant selects two activities. Morning area spent learning and mastering new skills and challenges. A group of 15-18 participants are led by three to four experts who ensure a safe yet challenging experience. World class equipment is provided.
Back Packing

The backpacking course equips participants with the skills they need for safe trekking and hiking adventures - at the same time ensuring there is minimal impact on the environment. Participants learn basic mountain etiquette, packing and equipment handling, map reading, weather patterns and skills to set up a safe camp in the wild outdoors. The sense of achievement only increases as the level of challenge is upped everyday.

Subject to the location and age group, the night out trip would be either one or two nights away from camp.

The backpacking course on some programs this year takes you on longer trek with a chance to go deeper into beautiful forests or higher to breathtaking meadows.
Wilderness Craft

What do you do if you get lost? What do you do if you get lost and you aren’t Tom Hanks starring in a movie solely about what you do when you get lost? How can you improvise shelter? And find direction without a compass? And get a fire going? And signal for help? A variation of the backpacking course, this course prepares participants for surviving in the wilderness, and gives them a sense of their own abilities and endurance level.

Depending on the readiness of the group and available conditions, the camping night out trip could be without tents – in shelter improvised by the participants themselves.

This year the wilderness craft group has elements of search and rescue and signaling. Survival skills and high degree of improvisation in the wilderness will be the focus.
Rock Climbing

The rock climbing course begins with building bouldering skills and an introduction to knots and climbing hardware. As participants master the various climbing techniques, the complexity of the challenge is gradually increased with newer rock faces and routes. Different methods of ascending and descending like Jumaring and Rappelling make the course both challenging and fun.

Inme is the only camp in the country that provides special climbing shoes so that participants can attempt tougher routes safely.

Our rock climbing course now has elements of lead climbing and specially designed series of lateral challenges - rock climbing like no where else.
Mountain Biking

An all-time hit, the Mountain Biking course tests a participant’s skills, as well as their will power. We have charted out safe yet challenging off-road courses that provide variety and also help build confidence in riding over different terrains and surfaces. Inme provides participants with rugged All Terrain Bikes (ATB), helmets and guards – the only thing the participants are required to bring along is a desire to conquer.

Bike paths have been carefully chosen to stay of the metal road and traffic. The program is around bike control and endurance building and not joy rides and racing.

Ropes Course

Equipment and support systems provide a combination and variety of challenges to keep participants engaged in thrills and challenges away from terra-firma. Walking the tight rope, various swings and ladders, Dangle Duo, Flying Squirrel, Target Jump and a host of other innovative activities with both high and low elements.

The ropes course lends itself beautifully for thrill and learning moments for discussions around both collaboration and competition.

This year the ropes course has more high elements, which makes it more exciting and has lot more team challenges that will take all your resourcefulness to get through.
White Water Rafting

The thrill of meeting gushing white water head on is not easy to substitute, and this course provides that in plenty. The hows and whys of a safe rafting trip, understanding the equipment, and the sheer joy of meeting up to grade 3+ rapids is all packed in this course. With a special module in hydrology, this is more than just a few joy rides down the river. By the last day some older participants are encouraged to guide the rafts in some sections.

Rafting at Tons will have more excitement with flip drills, on raft challenges and hydrology sessions. Participants above 15 years will also raft sections of the upper Tons for a longer descent.
International Biking Expedition

Participants are taken to international loactions. They plan for the expedition together as a group and carry food, utensils, tents and other equipment while learning to manage resources. The group cycles each day to reach the decided destination where they pitch tents, cook food and prepare for the next day. Participants shop for groceries on the way and interact with the local people thus getting an awareness and understanding of other cultures. We use recreational and urban cycles on the expedition and stay in well maintained camping grounds and youth hostels.
